Our Story

As children our Mom always promised us that someday we would be best friends, and it turns out she was right! Now we are business partners operating the Maine Casket Company, an initiative to bring affordable and environmentally sustainable burial solutions to you.  

Children of a carpenter, we have been in and out of the woodshop most of our lives. Handmade solutions to everyday items was part of our upbringing and Spencer proved to be especially creative and capable in the woodshop. After spending several years apart to complete schooling and start families, we returned to our roots and are honored to give back to the community that built us. 

Our mission is to help families navigate loss and celebrate their loved ones by easing stress, reducing financial burden, and preserving dignity.  

We love keeping things simple, family-centered, and practical. 

We are grateful for those who came before us and we strive to honor them.

We have learned to stay focused on what matters most; God, Family, and Service.
